I’ve been down the river 4 times and everytime I learned something different and important. It’s beautiful yet can sometimes be scarey. The rivers that run into the Bay are pretty much all remote and difficult to run, that is the appeal for all of us.

I am also so happy to hear of such a wonderful tradition that continues today.

No matter how difficult and scary the circumstance we were always rewarded with a sense of accomplishment and a sense of ourselves.
